"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

As the Discussion board is a web app with web parts that build the screens on the fly I would like a solution that does as little as possible to the underlying OOB items.
I have actually spent a lot of time on this today and by creating a new XSL file in the _layouts\XSL folder and editing the threaded.aspx view to point at this XSL file instead and then using JQuery to modify the page to put the link on it, kind of gotten what i needed.

What I dont have is a solution that ties all this together for each new discussion board that I might create.

Any thoughts?
