I have iis 7 running on windows 2008 R2 server.
I need to be able to divert a request coming from the internet  eg https://studentsweb.mydomain  to another server internally which internally answers to https://studentweb.mydomain
Eventhough I have defined redirection in ii7, it does not redirect, rather stays on the local iis7 website.

1. Open IIS Manager and navigate to the level you want to manage.
2. In Features View, double-click HTTP Redirect.
3. On the HTTP Redirect page, under Redirect Behavior, select Redirect all requests to exact destination (instead of relative to destination).
4. In the Actions pane, click Apply.
