Daylight Saving time on Polycom SoundPoint IP phones and FreePBX not updating automatically

Hi,

When Daylight Saving changes occur, our Polycom SoundPoint phones (we have 335's, 450's, and 550's) never update the time accordingly. I have to go into the SIP.cfg and modify the timezone there and reboot the phones. There has to be a way that this happens automatically as with every other piece of computer equipment. How do I make sure these phones just update their time automatically without my involvement?

Thank you

First thing would be to log in and check the DST start & Stop dates -

Second would be confirm what NTP Server it's looking at and that it can reach that server -

What should I have in my sip.cfg file for DST to work properly? The NTP server is the phone system and that correctly changes DST. The phones can reach this server.

Sorry,  Not sure what the XML tag is for this on the current Polycoms.

This is what I put into my sip.cfg file and it seems to be working, but I guess I'll need to wait until DST stops to be sure it works 100%
