Out IT department cannot ask users to do much or anything and end users have to change AD passwords sometimes but when they do now they have to go into the smart phone and change the password for the Exchange 2013 email account.
Is there any way to automate this process so once they change their Active Directory password on their PC it updates their phone automatically so they don't have to?

thanks

Retaining the passwords? Short answer.
No.

The only way to avoid the users having to put passwords in to the device is to use certificate authentication instead. However that has huge ramifications for a network setup, as it requires a complete setup of an internal PKI and is well beyond the scope of this question and site.
