Error Invoking undeliveredmail.cfc on Coldfusion Administrator

We are running Coldfusion 9 Enterprise on a Windows 2008 Server. Each time I click to open the "View Undelivered Mail" button I get an error message that says:

Error invoking CFC /CFC/administrator/mail/undeliveredmail.cfc:
coldfusion.runtime.Cast._double(J)D [Enable debugging by adding 'cfdebug' to your URL parameters to see more information]

This only seems to happen if there is actually some undelivered mail in that folder. If the "Undelivr" folder is empty the error does not appear.

Some research I did suggested a bug with a security hotfix, but I couldn't find too much about that?

Also, I'm not sure how to "add cfdebug to my URL parameter" to see more information. I did check our Application log and found this entry:

"Error","jrpp-1678","11/03/14","13:57:21","cfadmin","coldfusion.runtime.Cast._double(J)D The specific sequence of files included or processed is: C:\inetpub\wwwroot\CFIDE\administrator\mail\undeliveredmail.cfc, line: 243 "

I looked at line 243 of the undeliveredmail.cfc but it doesn't show much useful information about the error?

hmm, my first suggestion would be to make sure that your permissions for the cfadmin user are correct for that folder. you may be able to list the directory but not open the files within.

I just sat with my server administrator and we don't see any "cfadmin" or related user account? Is there a specific account we should be looking for that the CF Administrator uses to access those folders/resources? All Windows accounts for that folder have the appropriate permissions.

Also, how do I add cfdebug to my URL parameter?

I assume you mean this one?

#87007 - After applying Security Hotfix | APSB11-14, APSB11-15 the 'View Undelivered Mail' feature from the 'Mail' page of the CFAdmin no longer works.

The comments on the linked thread suggest CFHF2 mightfix it. What's your exact version?

I think you're using 9.0.1 update 2, but I'm not 100%. The updates were a bit of mess prior to CF10. Even if you think it's installed, you might want to verify it, see CF911: Are you finding CF (or CF Admin) busted after applying a hotfix? A few possible reasons

FWIW, I checked a dev machine. It's Win7 / 9.0.2 (version without Verity) and can view undelivered mail without issue.
