How can we change a login box "wp-login-box" to link to a new address (URL) not link into the WordPress admin login page of the site. Plugin is using PHP $profilelink = $home."/wp-admin/profile.php"; could this be the line we need to change to the new address we wish to use (Link to)?

If this is the WP Login Box plugin, there should be an options page where you can set the location of your custom login form as well as a custom redirection-after-login locations.  You shouldn't need to mess with the plugin files.
