Have you tried putting a valid Windows OS CD/DVD &nbsp;in the Reader. &nbsp;<br />

Your should also look at the log file I know it's a pain to go through it line by line but that's really the only way you can find the corrupt file.<br />

I would do a Reboot Chkdsk &nbsp;first - then rerun the sfc /scannow. Quite often running the SFC a couple of time with a restart after each sweep will either fix it or at least bring fix some of the bad file and give you an indication in the log file what's left.<br />

You may also want to run a repair on the Win8
