Outlook 2013 Reminders - User with 1,000 Reminders

Greetings. Simple question.  I have a user with 1,150 calendar reminders.  For some reason, she does not wish to delete them. Intuitively, it seems this is Not a Good Idea.  Am I just being OCD or are there any Microsoft-documented adverse effects from having over a thousand non-dismissed calendar reminders pop up every time she opens Outlook ?

Thanks much.

You are being OCD... Sometimes users have shall we say unique ways of doing things. Must make them feel important when they open outlook.. You might want to time the opening of outlook until the first email is read.. af these screens of reminders scroll by.

I'm very customer-service oriented, so I don't like bugging end users about things like this unless there's a legitimate reason to do so.  Thanks for the advice.  I'll tuck my OCDness back in the closet for another time. Thanks, David.
