When running ipv4 and ipv6 on a cisco switch is the command really necessary.<br />

sdm prefer dual-ipv4-and-ipv6 default<br />
<br />
I did not run the command on a 3750 switch and enabled ipv6 did not have any issues.<br />
<br />
The command is also not working on a 2960 and 3550.<br />
<br />
Please advice.
