I am attempting to figure out how to have files upload into SharePoint Document library on a regular basis and the task I am setting up in the File Management Console doesn't seem to work. I need dumbed down instructions on how to accomplish this so I don't have to upload the files manually every morning.

Does that involve me setting up an APP server? Would it be possible to use the free version instead? Any links on this would be preferred.

Simply keep the network path saved for document library using explorer view. So copy and paste becomes simpler for you instead of uploading from site.
For automatic upload, you may have to write a workflow or else there is no custom app I have heard about.

I got the app server up and running and then created the bindings, however I am now receiving this error
Server Error in '/x' Application.

From what kind of system are you uploading? How are you planning to schedule the upload?

This has evolved into setting up the webapps server and getting an error related to that set-up. Unfortunately I have 4 threads going on this and none are bringing a resolve. I will have to start over and see if I am missing a step.

I still have an error on this but plan to do a reinstall of both sharepoint and webapps to see if that helps.
