Hello Experts,

I have installed a new Cisco Virtual Switch Machine following instructions provided in the attached document, page 10 to 19 - bare in mind the installation described is for Nexus Titanium!

Everything appears to be going well until I console into the switch, see image. Can someone let me know where I might be going wrong?

Cheers

Carlton

The OS/VM is not running.

e.g. it cannot find a MBR (Master Boot Record) on the disk, and hence it's trying to BOOT from LAN.

So you do not have any OS running.

I would suggest going into the BIOS of the computer (I'm talking virtual here, press DEL/ESC at POST)

1. Checking the BIOS, and disable BOOT from LAN
2. Ensure the first BOOT device is Hard DIsk.

and then check your disk, OVF is imported correctly.

from the screen you have posted quite simply Cisco 1000v is NOT running or BOOTED!
