Legacy DN

i delete contacts of external user emails because we acquired the company and now the user are inside with their domain was i suppost to export and import those legacy DNs from those users?

Hello,

Yes, you should have exported the legacyExchangeDNs from the contacts and added them as X500 addresses on the new mailboxes.

do you know how to restore AD objects? a gui tool?
If your forest functional level is at 2008 R2 or above, you can enable the AD recycling bin (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd392261%28v=ws.10%29.aspx), otherwise, you would need to perform an authoritative restore of AD to get the objects back.

can one just delete the ova for the user to solve it?
