How to programatically crop a pdf

HI: We use bespoke software to create labels and stick on our products. We have just opened a remote manufacturing site and need to get the labels sent to them as they cannot access directly our software. THe software has Crystal built in so we can export as pdf, then ftp the pdf to the remote site.Yippee! But the pdf page layout (which we cannot change in Crystal as it is built in) is 4.1 inches by 4 inches. The labels are 4*4. I have spent all day trying to get the printer to print 4*4 but failed so am resorting to cropping the pdf. THis can be done in Acrobat professional (am using 7) - but can this be done programatically? My users are not IT literate so a big fat button to press would help immeasurably! HAve found some mention of javascript stuff but is this relevant? Thanks!
