We're not able to connect any of our Outlook 2013 client to Exchange 2013 sp1.

The event log has a lot of these errors.

Cannot add duplicate collection entry of type 'add' with unique key attribute 'path' set to 'C:\Windows\System32\RpcProxy\RpcProxy.dll

Could this be causing our Outlook clients to not connect to Exchange?

Yes.  Exchange 2013 no longer uses a MAPI over TCP connection.  It exclusively uses an RPC [or MAPI] over HTTP(s) connection.

The original error, though, points to a misconfiguration in one of the config files.  Try running the health check on your server to see if that can assist with determining the misconfigured file.

To run the health check, open a web browser and go to: https://server_fqdn/rpc/healthcheck.htm
