Dymo Labelwriter 450 not working on a mac os x 10.8.5
THis is killing me!
It was working fine until a week ago.
Am assured there were no changes.
I went to sys prefs, printers & removed.
I then went to library, printers & deleted the Dymo folder.
I then emptied the trash. rebooted.
reinstalled the Dymo software from their website DLS8setup.8.5.2.dmg
Checked printers. it wasnt there?
I then reset the printing system
"Hold down the Option key while clicking the "-" (Remove printer) button.
If no printers are currently added, hold down the Control key (alt written on it)
while clicking in the box that appears above the "+" (Ad printer) button, then choose Reset printing system… from the contextual menu."
Then i install the dymo sw again. Then i connect the dymo.
In printers it still lists the "old" Dymo - Bonjour.
I cant remove or change this?
I cant seem to add it manually as a usb printer?
Deleted the Dymo folder again
Rebooted
Installed the Dymo software. No joy.
I'm not great on the macs so any help would be great!!
The mac has a usb Epson printer also which works fine.
I tried all the usb slots & different usb cables.
I tested the Dymo on another mac & it worked perfect - installed the software & then connected it when prompted.
I'm also wondering if i've lost the dymo addressbook??
The dymo program wont open unless it detects a printer.
Not sure where to find it?
Can anyone advise?
