Configuring Sonicwall NSA 2600 - Cannot Ping WAN

Hi, I'm in the process of configuring a new NSA 2600, but I cant seem to get out to the internet.

The firewall patches into the ISPs router and the link comes up.
But I cannot ping the gateway, (ISPs router).

 The gateway is x.x.x.209

I have previously connected a laptop to the gateway and assigned the laptop the firewalls WAN address and I can access the internet without issue.

Can anyone explain what might need changing?

 Cheers,

 Steve

Did you reboot the router afterwards in case it's held the mac-address of your laptop against that IP address?

I cant say that I did.

The "router" is actually a ADSL bonding device.
Four ADSL modems patch into it along with the firewall.

I will try a reboot of it.
