GP with printers

I’m trying to share the Media Center printer to 6 physical desktops.

I’m using GP targeting but the printer will not install. When I go into the GP to add the Media Center printer it shows the old share name. I think this is what is causing the issue. When I go to add it on the DC just to see if the DC sees the old or new share name it sees the new one. This is only happening on GP when I search for the printer.

The student have “print access” and I have it pointing to the right OU where these 6 computers are under.

Thanks

To make your thing easy..

just have this video..: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ueHjVcpXBGc

First two lines need to configured on script (update same on GP)..

set objnetwork = createjobect("WScript.network")
objnetwork.addwindowsPrinterConnection "\\shared Printer name\example(\\Win2000DC1\HPLaserjet31001)"
WScript.each "Succesfully printer has been configured and connected to user"
