Picture Branding

We time fitness events (5ks, triathlongs, etc) and take pictures of all finishers.  Is there software out there that would allow me to add a banner across the bottom or top of the image with our logo on it?  I would need to be able to apply this in a batch rather than image-by-image...say to all files in a directory.

You mean like watermarking?

Just a quick search brings up this:

No not watermarking so much.  I want to put a our logo/banner or that of a sponsor on the picture.

Seems like the same thing to me. I clicked on number 2 in the list and there are options for uploading an image to use as a watermark. There appear to be options for adjusting opacity so I'm guessing the logo could be 100% opaque. Options for batch processing too. What more do you need?
