Hello Experts,

Can someone show me how to go about matching identical serial numbers in sheet Autodata and Solarwinds.

For example, the serial number in cell F3 sheet Autodata  is FCZ091612HV and serial number in Solarwinds cell D162 is also FCZ091612HV. I would like to find the match and maybe place the results in sheet called Comparison. Or possibly place a tick where is a match in the MATCH and column and a tick where the isn't a match in the NO MATCH column.

Thanks in advance for your help.

In A2 on sheet Solarwinds insert this formula and copy down
=IF(F2<>"",IF(ISERROR(MATCH(F2,Autodata!H:H,0)),"No Match","Match"),"")

Then filter on column A for the value Match.
Copy the result to sheet Comparison.

See file.
