Add more space RAID 5

I have a Windows Server 2008 with RAID 1 and also RAID 5, is possible add more space in RAID 5?

It depends on your RAID controller. Many of them allow you to add more disks and extend the array, often you can do that while the server is running. Once the array has extended, you can use diskmanagement to also extend your partition.

So you need to check your server's manual. Sometimes you also need to add optional hardware for those functions to become available, like RAM and a backup battery for the controller.

Also make sure that before you start, your backups are 100% OK, as it is always possible that something may fail.
