group policy not being applied to new user

I have setup a gpo for the object user with no filters for folder redirection. I have added a number of new users to the domain and when they logon I have noticed that the policy does not seem to be applied to them.

check your group policy on the server and ensure that the ou it is in is the same as the users ou .. also on a cliet machine do an rsop and see what policies are applied
