I have a word document with a remote desktop link (rdp).

When I convert the document to a pdf (Acrobat Professional 11), the RDP becomes an inactive icon.

How would I get a remote desktop link into a pdf?

Thanks in advance.

What version of Word are you using?

When I use Save as with Word 2010, the links works appropriately. I have the same result when I use the Acrobat plugin in Word 2010.

This is word 2014.  Remote Desktop links are different than other website links.  The remote desktop (which appears as an icon in the Word document-- but has link function) becomes just an icon in the pdf.

I have a community conversation running on the Adobe community with an Adobe tech.
I will post the answer I receive over here so others can benefit from it.
