Is there a tool to help diagnose potential network issues?
I have a client with about 10 users, a windows 2008 server (used only as a file system) and a voip system from http://www.zultys.com
. The internet service is one of the faster comcast packages. It looks like they are getting well over 50mbs and many times I see over 70mbs down and 20+ up. The router is a new Netgear Nigihthawk.
Something is wrong with ongoing connections though as there are many dropped calls or if I am in the office and try and RDP to a remote server, I experience freezing.
I discovered that on the internal windows server DNS manager was active although not used for anything and I disabled that as the DNS is set via the router. Is there a tool to detect potential issues?
