Help setting up FTP Site in IIS using existing aspnet Membership database

Hello Experts,

I am trying to allow customers to have ftp access to a folder on our webserver.  They already authenticate through our website using an ASP.NET Membership Database on the same server.  I'd like to create an FTP site in IIS using this existing aspnet membership database as our authentication method as to not have to manage two membership databases.

I have tried all of the common articles out there describing this set up, but to no avail.

I can successfully connect to the folder via FileZilla when I set the authentication mode to Anonymous so our security, ports and access are all taken care of.

Has anyone been able to accomplish this, or can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thank you!

You have two options and it sounds as though you should be able to get this working based on the article below:
http://www.iis.net/learn/publish/using-the-ftp-service/configuring-ftp-with-net-membership-authentication-in-iis-7

It is pretty exhaustive and you need to triple check that you are following the steps correctly.
