Android Exchange Services not populating correct info from Autodiscover

Hi,

I have a Galaxy S5 and use gmail ver 5 with exchange services 6.5, i have noticed that the exchange services is not populating the correct information in the Incoming Server Settings\ Server field, it is only putting the domain name in and not the full address which is mail.domain.com, it is connecting to exchange 2010, i know that the autodiscovery is working fine i have tested it with windows phones and also on my S5 with the Samsung mail app which picks these settings up fine, is this a bug? and is there anyway of fixing it.

Thanks

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Autodiscover with mobile devices is very hit and miss (more miss than hit). It comes down to how the application has implemented ActiveSync, not all of them do it correctly using Autodiscover.
No real fix other than entering the information manually. I tell clients to do that anyway, as Autodiscover on mobile devices simply cannot be depended on.

Simon.
