voice recognition/recording question.

Hi,

I am watching an IT video and would like to record the conversation in word pad in text.

Is it possible?

Thanks.

There are software like Dragon (see link below) that allow you to record your voice and translate it to text. It is very accurate and is fairly user friendly. You might be able to find a less user friendly lower performance version for free but if it's for one project see if you can do a free trial. The secrataries where I used to work used this all of the time where the CEO or someone would record a letter or somthing in voice and they would go back to edit it. Mostly the issue was when talking people don't sound the same as writing and also to check the punctuation. I am not 100% sure somthing like this would work with a video but if you can do a free trial you should give it a shot and let us know how it goes. Sorry that the link is so long I just grabbed it off google but it's the right one. Notre: (if the software only works with certain software like word you could use open office I imagine).
