Windows Server 2012, IIS 8, IIS FTP Server

I have set my home directory to a network share and am trying to configure permissions so that users can drop files but not read or list the directory.  I need to know what user FTP is using to access the directory?

Thanks,

Robert

Usually there are more stringent access rules to user folder c:\users such that it is not advisable to use it for ftp. Servername_iusr is the credential with which ftp runs.  One thing you should disable anonymous logins and the require login which will be based on windows login.

you can then define a share with write only to user.  Then you would at the root of the ftp server create virtual directories whose names match the username and set them to point to the share.
I.e user username in the FTP root you will create a virtual directory username f:\write_only_directory
