ActiveReports issue with textbox controls and Excel

We just upgraded to ActiveReports 8 and a lot of our existing reports are now having issues when outputting to Excel.

The current issue is a field in a report is being output to the wrong Excel column, however, when the user chooses to output the report to PDF, everything works fine.

See attached Excel file. AgentFinanceChargeReport.xlsx

The values for the following columns are not in the same columns as the header:
MTD Finance Charge
YTD Amount Finance
YTD Finance Charge

After debugging, I noticed that the Textbox properties: WrapMode, Multiline, Width, and Alignment might be contributing to this issue, but am not certain.

Is anyone aware of any bugs that might be causing such an issue in ActiveReports 8?

I don't know about Active Reports and there aren't many if any experts in EE who use it.

I use Crystal Reports and it can have similar issues if the heading and the detail fields are not precisely lined up and exactly the same width.
Also Crystal has an issue if there is any white space between fields in a row.  It will treat the white space as a column

Off topic, but is there a reason to why few people use Active Reports? I'm new to it so don't know too much about it.

This site is not necessarily representative of who uses what software.

I believe most people use Crystal Reports/Business Objects, MS SSRS, Oracle reports, or perhaps Cognos.

Active Reports may be very popular just that no experts here (remember we are all volunteers and most found our way here generally because we had an issue or question then stayed to answer/help others).

Have you tried the Active Reports web site?

I know there have been Active Reports questions asked here but most have gone unanswered or a generic response like mine led to an answer.
