For Office 2013 and a subscription, you can use One Drive and store your documents in the &quot;cloud&quot;. I have 200 GB of documents and files and so I said no to that service. It would not help me. But if you have a small number of documents and a fast connection (documents are on a remote server), it could help.

Microsoft competes against Hosted Exchange. I have clients with Exchange 365 and clients with Host Exchange. Take your pick. I have clients with Hosted SharePoint for documents. Others do it internally. There is no one way.
