Infrastructural central 5.1.1

I'm using infrastructural central 5.1.1, tried to configure it to send alerts email  when the monitored device has an alarm condition

I configured alerts setting and profiles in the infrastructural central but due to some reason central is not generate any email  notification when there a alarms

was it able to send a test email.. your smtp settings may be incorrect.

I had to activate the profiles that helped to send the emails
