Hi ,

for e surity purpose i escape the spl char into symbol
so sathish will changed as >sathish

if you print in html file

input Output
sathish sathish
sathish sathish why its not printing with bold ????

Because they are literal strings and not HTML tags.

By combining your multiple posts, I guess you're trying to strip all the tags except and (and actually you also need to keep the
for line breaks). Why not simply tell us what you're trying to achieve instead of asking a javascript question which would not solve your problem?

Maybe by providing the input string and the expected output?
