Is it possible to show the gridview results in column fashion - one next to another instead of row format?

e.g. Ecommerce product listing with image and product name next to it, multiple columns and wrap after 4-5 items to next rows?

Is there a native control available to show it in this format or use third party / write a custom ascx?

You can also use ListView with your own template. It has all functionalities as GridView and you can build the template as you like.
