hi
i am using poedit to translate a theme i'm building.
within the theme folder i have a languages folder. so for the path in poedit i used: ../
for keywords i use: __ and _e
it did scan and recognised when i have put on the index page:
<h2><?php  _e('To be Translated','boottheme'); ?></h2>
but the translation to hebrew that i gave doesn't show

in the comment for the theme in style.css i have this: Text Domain: boottheme

any idea why it is not translated on the page?

You also need the following in your theme's functions.php (at best from the use of 'after_setup_theme' action):
load_theme_textdomain( 'boottheme', get_template_directory() . '/languages' );

Open in new window
