WSUS Client computers are installing updates with a higher than 10 percent failure rate.

Hi,

On our WSUS only one PC is failing to install 26 updates. And Event log says "ID= 13001; Src= Windows Server Update Services; User= ; Catg= Clients ; D/T= 11/28/2014 08:43:19; EventDesc= Client computers are installing updates with a higher than 10 percent failure rate. This should be monitored."

When I check the client PC no updates are showing..

You could have some corruption on the clients. You could test this by going to a client and stopping the Windows Update Service. Then go to %systemdrive%\windows\ and either delete or rename the "Software Distribution" folder to something else. Then restart the service. From a command line run the following:

wuauclt /resetauthorization /detectnow
wuauclt /reportnow

This should cause it to contact the WSUS server, recreate the folder, and download new files. See if these update correctly. These directions are listed as #5 in the link below.
