Looking for remote speaker and microphone for the smartphone.  Anyone can suggest something?  Say put the phone on the base somewhere in the house and hear when someone call when working in the garage.  Or outside in the backyard.
When hear someone called over the speaker be able to pickup the phone and answer.

Anyone familiar with these?

No, sadly, most of these products are based on Bluetooth, thereby limiting you to 10 meters (line of sight).
I have not seen any wifi based products like there (speakers yes, mic/pickup phone no)

Then something like the  Philips ShoqBox SB7200 is a good example. But ANY Bluetooth speaker where it specifies there's a built-in mic has the ability to be used as a device to pick up a phone call and talk and listen to. As I said, please mind the 10 meters is line of sight, if you have a brick wall inbetween, maybe it's not even 5 meters, and maybe even introduce stuttering sounds.

Thank you.  I thought the Bluetooth signal can go through the physical wall.  But you're right, the distance may change then.
