I have a new site i'm setting up. I am moving our office to a new building. I have a new C3750x Layer3 switch. I am going to be moving an existing 2911 router that is used as our phone system. Do I or is it best practice to put QoS on the interface that the Router is connecting to? We are looking to get as much QoS as possible on voice on the network. The office is in India and for a period of time we will be utilizing a IPSEC VPN Tunnel. I will also be configuring QoS on my Cisco ASA.  From my understanding of QoS, I need to configure it on the switch and possibly interfaces that I have equipment that will require it. Any help would be appreciated.

1. On the interface the C2911 router, the interface that it connects to on the switch. what is the best practice configuration for QoS?

2. On interfaces that are trunked to other switches, what are best practice configuration for QoS?

2. On the interface that is connected to the Cisco ASA, what is the best practice configuration for QoS?

Thank you!

Would you please provide a diagram with all the devices included?

Which devices are in India? And, where is the other site? What is the WAN bandwidth?

What do you mean by "...moving an existing 2911 router that is used as our phone system."?
