Just looking into new relic www.newrelic.com/‎, looks pretty cool. For requirements the IIS7 server seems to fulfil all except ZTS (Zend Thread Safety) as seen under configure command in phpinfo.
cscript /nologo configure.js "--enable-snapshot-build" "--enable-debug-pack" "--disable-zts" "--disable-isapi" "--disable-nsapi" "--without-mssql" "--without-pdo-mssql" "--without-pi3web" "--with-pdo-oci=C:\php-sdk\oracle\instantclient10\sdk,shared" "--with-oci8=C:\php-sdk\oracle\instantclient10\sdk,shared" "--with-oci8-11g=C:\php-sdk\oracle\instantclient11\sdk,shared" "--with-enchant=shared" "--enable-object-out-dir=../obj/" "--enable-com-dotnet=shared" "--with-mcrypt=static" "--disable-static-analyze"

Is there an easy way to enable ZTS in windows command line or in php.ini or do I have to install it, if so how?

Since it says "--disable-zts", you would have to find another version or compile your own version of PHP.  I got a virus warning when I went to the NewRelic web site.

Have you seen any good documentation for setting this up with Windows IIS7?

Do you have a plan for Continuity?

It's inevitable. People leave organizations creating a gap in your service. That's where Percona comes in.

Your version of PHP has "--disable-zts" which means it does not support ZTS (Zend Thread Safety).  In the links you posted, it says that you need Apache, not IIS, to run New Relic.

Hi Dave,

I found that they do have New Relic for .Net (wonder if I can use this for a PHP application I will look into it)
https://docs.newrelic.com/docs/agents/net-agent/getting-started/new-relic-net

Naturally in my situation I have a PHP application I want to monitor on a Windows Server, because of systems requirements of this project I cannot change to Apache, I have to use IIS7, what documentation did you view that stated that Apache was a requirement. From the links I provided I didn't see Apache stated as a requirement, perhaps I am missing something.

Thanks for your help Dave.

New Relic, is not going to work for me in my situation I need to use IIS7 and it requires Apache, there is a .Net version but it is only useful for .Net code.

If I can't get Apache on the windows server then I will probably just focus on the normal error logs, ensure low level logging is enabled and try to identify the timeout issue.

Unfortunate. The most important thing from new relic would've been the stack trace, I expect I can code timestamp debug through the code and review the logs to identify the code point that is taking time
