Hi,

My hosting co says go along and design the site then get it to be the index.

Where is the setting that will swap the index.htm and point to word presses?

Note - They tell me that installing wordpress wont over write the present site initally.

Thanks,

Since we don't know how you phrased the question to the ISP nor what their exact answer was, we can't be 100% sure we're giving you the right advice.

It sounds like your hosting company has the default index file for sites set to index.htm.  To switch that to "WordPress" you would have to change that setting to point to index.php instead.  Is this Windows/IIS or LAMP hosting?
