Hi,

Does anyone have instructions on virtualizing the older version of Impromptu (prior to version 8)?  This would be using VMWare

Thanks

Well this will depend more on the OS than the product itself.

Is it Windows based? Does it use SQL etc?

A straight p2v using VMware converter should be fine.

Use a normal P2V process.

Because you are so stingy with details, it is hard to give more advice.

This guide is for XP which may not be the OS you have. You need to provide more details than just windows. You need to stop whatever services you can for p2v to succeed. AV/Firewall, remote logins, IIS, SQL etc all need to be stopped.
