We currently have SCOM 2012 working with external SQL 2012 database.
I was tasked to move the SQL database to a new server.
(\\OLDSQLSRV to \\NEWSQLSRV)

What do I have to do on SCOM 2012 server(s) to point to the new database target?

Please help.

Have you already looked over the technet articles on moving the Operational Database and DataWarehouse?  (Do them one at a time, and make certain the operational db is available and functional before starting the Datawarehouse.)
