VMware Window VM Running Diabolically Slow

Hello Experts,

I really would like some help in first determining why my Windows is running painfully slow.

I have configured the settings as advised and I'm only running two VMs, see image.

vm
Please advise on what I could do to improve speed when opening applications.

Is W7 a fresh install or is it the result of a P2V conversion?
