Do you know by chance if the database engine advisor can connect to a server with sql server 2000? I've created a user on that server sysadmin to login and access the database but I get an error when I connect: Could not initialize MSDB database<br />
<br />
Note: When you start session with an instance of sql server 2012 I have no problem.<br />

I think it's because the tool does not support a sql server 2000, but wanted to confirm.

I think it's because the tool does not support a sql server 2000, but wanted to confirm.
