Login into gmail from tablet or mobile phones
I have a LG L70 Optimus mobile phone and also a Visual Land tablet. on both when I tried to login into my Gmail account, taking into account to type very carefully the username and also the password, but I still get the error username or password error. The tablet is connected to the internet thru my home Verizon wireless modem and I also typed the connection password carefully and got the connect signal.
Trying to trouble shoot, let me work on the tablet, how do I go about verifying step by step that I am doing the right thing. Thank u.

in response to paulsauve, this is the first time I am trying to logon to logon to gmail from a mobile or a tablet. all the while i have been logging in thru the pc using chrome or IE 12
yes - but can you STILL login from your PC (i.e. Logout of your google account and login again with the same credentials you are using on your mobile devices)?

In response to Paulsauve, that is the sequence I did for my iPhone, but I still get the same error, that the username and password are wrong, whereas if I were to login from my pc, i get into my account without a breeze. Thank u.
Well - it's a mystery to me as well. Usually, if you delete the accounts on the iPhone and tablet, then you should be able to recreate the accounts correctly.
On the iPhone, you do this in Settings -> Mail, Contacts, Calendar. But I guess that you have done this as well!
However, if you created an account with Apple using your existing email account, you MAY have used a different password and this is what is causing you grief.

In response to Paulsauve, the Gmail account and passwords were created at google.com and not from Apple. Probably I would create a test new gmail account with a simple password, send and receive a message or two, and then try to create from the tablet or the iphone to see what happens.
Following up to my ID 40497521, I tried with a new gmail account and I was able to set it in my tablet, but my old gmail account of several years, it failed to recognize it, still says wrong username and password.

If so, your Gmail account may have been hacked!
