what's different with Office Automation System and Ticket system

    i would like to know what's different with OA and Ticket system, we have already use the OA system in my company, but do not have the ticket system, now i would like to ask my boss approve my ticket system plan, so i need your help, let me know how to persuad my boss

If you don't know the difference between the two, then how do you know that you want a ticket system?  Anyway:

Office Automation is system that takes manual tasks and automate them.

I would assume by "ticket" system you mean a trouble ticket system.  Trouble ticket systems are used to track incidents/problems.  Some (most?) also include  not only incidents/problem tickets but request/changes tickets.

If you don't have a ticket system today, how do you track incidents/problems/requests/changes?
