Crystal Server and OData Feed

Hello experts -

We are migrating databases and I am afraid Crystal Server is on the chopping block.  The new database does have an OData feed that I have been told works with Crystal but I have not been able to find much data on it.  We have Crystal 2008 desktop and Business Objects 12.0 as our Crystal Server (which I am sure is quite old).

Does anybody have any experience with OData and Crystal Reports and/or Crystal Server version 12?

My supervisor did find this link but it really doesn't say much...

Thanks.

WHat version (service pack level) do you have?
Open Crystal and click HELP --> ABOUT Crystal

From the article, if it is 12.3 or higher you should have the OData connector.
You may have to do an update install to get the database connector loaded.

I have version 12.5 so I should be good to go.  To ask a dumb question - are you referring to the article from the link I posted previously?  Crystal 2003 SP3?

Yes.  I haven't used ODATA so I don't know anymore than what is in the article.

Can you setup and ODBC or ADO connection to the data source?
If so you can use that as the Crystal source
