How do i make rules client side only

Hi,

I have just moved an business from pop3 delivery to office 365 (running Outlook 2013 as the client). The boss has many (>200) rules, but he does not want the rules applied on the server - because he wants to be able to see the raw inbox feed on his blackberry.

So is there a way that I can force all rules to be client side, and moreover can I change >200 rules at once.

thanks for your time

To make the rule client-side only in Outlook you will need to modify the rule then tick the on this computer only box at the bottom of the list in the Which condition(s) do you want to check? step.

You won't be able to modify that many rules at once through Outlook. You can look at doing this with a third-party tool such as the Power Rules Manager add-in for Outlook which many of my clients have had great experiences with, however I can't say I've ever seen it used it to simultaneously convert a large amount of rules to be client-side only. Maybe try downloading the 14-day trial and see if it can do this.
