Hi

I have a brand new EMC VNX5200 Block-only which I tried to initialize with Unisphere Storage System Initialization.

When I run the wizard it tries a couple of minutes and it returns an error "No storage system discovered"

I have tried different systems which are being connected to same subnet/Vlan with my Storage,  turned of firewall, have no Anti-Virus and HIPS on those systems. I also turned off any other NIC that I have on my systems.

After I tried couple of times, I turned off both SPs and and try again and still no lock!

Anyone has same issue with VNX and if you guys have any idea?

Cheers,

Did you rack this up yourself? Did you ensure that the back end cabling is correct?

Yeah I racked it myself according to EMC's hardware installation guide.
The storage system has a DPE and one DAE. To make sure about the back-end cabling , I detach the DAE. But the problem still exist.
