Coldfusion CFDirectory mapped and local drive

A user can have several CSV files stored on his PC (C:\Users\username\Documents\payroll) or on a mapped drive
j:\documents\payroll. These CSV files are generated from an payroll application.

The name pattern of the CSV files is always PAYROLL_YYYYMMPP where YYYY is payroll year, MM is payroll month and PP is payroll period
e.g. PAYROLL_20140101.csv, PAYROLL_20140102.csv, PAYROLL_20140201.csv, PAYROLL_2014002.csv etc...

I need to read ALL the CSV file names and content from either the user's PC or mapped drive (J), depending on which selection the user made.

I tried many combinations of CFDIRECTORY but has been unsuccessfully so far.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

ColdFusion Language

ColdFusion is a server-side rapid application development platform originally created by Allaire and now sold by Adobe, implementing the dynamic general purpose CFML programming language. The term ColdFusion is sometimes colloquially used to refer to the CFML language (Cold Fusion Markup Language), but can also include discussions of the server software implementation. ColdFusion runs using a customised version of Apache Tomcat. Earlier versions are bundled with JRun.
