referesh in oracle form 11g R2

hi i have a situation where i select value in lov and navigate to next canvas where i display the value i selected in previous page if i go back to previous page i still find selected value and if i select new value in lov and try to navigate again to next page i still find the previous selected value in my textitem how can i refresh this so when i come back i must find empty value everytime when i move back and forth of the page

You need to execute clear_block function to clear the form data, just before you navigate to new form..
by doing so, it will clear all the previous values in the earlier data block
