How can I make columns in the middle of my wordpress page.  For example, on my homepage you can see 3 columns in the middle of the page.  How can I do the same thing on other pages?

That's a widget area on your homepage (notice the id="widget_boxes_container"), with its own styles to make it appear in three-columns. This leads me to a few questions:

- Are you wanting a widget area on other pages, or just content you can format into 3-columns?
- Are you wanting the same 3-column homepage content on all the other pages?
- Is the content going to be different on the other pages?
- How comfortable are you with CSS and theme files? (I ask because there might be a plugin to do what you want).

Just content I can format into 3 columns

       No, just maybe one more

         Yes

Not comfortable at all, but I am not foreign to coding.  Plugin will always be better : )

I would try this plugin, though it may still take some CSS customizations to get exactly what you want. If that's the case, edit your theme CSS or the plugin CSS file (wp-ez-columns.css):
